FRIDAY

St. Charles' Traditions Festival. 6:30-9 pm. Events for the whole family include a Santa parade, special musical guests, photos with Santa, carriage rides, ice skating and much more. (& on Sat. from 11 am - 9 pm & 12-5 pm on Sun.)
SATURDAY
Home Depot's Kid Workshop. 9 a.m. -noon. This month your child will be able to make a picture frame. Grannys (Grannies?) would love this one!!
Not to be upstaged, Lowe's is hosting their Build & Grow Workshop this day also. Train Caboose. 10-11 a.m. You really should register ahead of time. And this one is the first of a three-part project at Lowe’s that’s perfect for the young train enthusiast in your life! Stop back on Dec. 11 to make a train car, and on Dec. 18 to make the train engine. You should sign up in advance for these free workshops, and a parent must be present at the workshop with the child. The first 50 kids to sign up for each workshop will get a kit, work apron, and safety goggles for free. Kids also get a badge and certificate when they complete their project.
Michael's Store's Knack FREE Family Event. Santa's Workshop Finger Knit Scarf. 10-11 am. Then, from 11-12 pm, Knack FREE Family Event Santa's Workshop Ornament make-it take-it.
Wehrenberg's Annual Cans Festival. Donate 5 or more cans, see a movie BEFORE 5 PM, for free. Donate 10 more cans (15 cans total), & get a pass to watch a future movie for free.
SUNDAY
Contemporary Art Museum Free Day. Admission is free to all on Wednesdays and Saturdays. 10 am - 5 pm.
ALL WEEKEND
Bass Pro's awesome WINTER HAPPENINGS. Free crafts & photos with Santa! Go HERE for the complete schedule (always call ahead & be sure of what your location is offering!). This weekend's craft is the 'Santa Suncatcher'!
